Just wanted to thank you for sending me a copy of the "drop a dress size" diet.
After being "on plan" with my diet all year, I decided to go "off plan" for one week and just enjoy our holidays. Even though most of my main meals were healthy, and I did continue with my weight training, I also had quite a few treats and wines in between. By the end of the week I was feeling quite bloated and lethargic. I had already made the decision to eat clean and low carb and drink lots of water the following week to flush out the excess fluid I was carrying.
Then I came across your generous offer which took all the guess work out of it for me. The only change I made was having green salad instead of green veges at lunch. All I can say is WOW! I dropped almost 4 kilos and felt great!!
Being just fluid weight, I regained 1.5 of those kilos when I went back to my regular healthy eating, which now brings me back to my "happy" weight. I love that it was so easy to stick to and it only took 5 days. I will definately be using this diet again when I have a special event coming up.

I actually did not realize that the program has finished (Part 2 felt much easier than part 1) – so integrated it is now in my life! I don’t think I plan to slow down, but I certainly plan to continue indefinitely!

Also a quick comment about IBO - me and my Mum and Dad (who are also doing 12 week programs) rave about it to each other, it's so great to see them so focused, and loving it! I was always a mission to try to inspire them to get their buts into gear. but I wont have to anymore! We are IBO groupies now!

I'm loving the food and the exercise program is a great guide, I have often in the past been stuck doing the same exercises because of limited knowledge but with the new exercises that are in the program I'm really seeing results.

Firstly let me thank you sincerenly for helping me through 12 weeks and 10kgs! Your support and kind words were encouraging and motivating. I really appreciated it, especially when the naysayers were in my ear (and there were many)!
Anyway, above are my final measurements for this program. I never thought I would have the success I have had and although there is still another 10kgs to go I am comfortable with the meals and the exercise program. Funnily, the proof of my achievements came this week when I was rollercoastering with my emotions of finishing the program. Firstly I went out to Cook on the Nullarbor, did my cardio as usual and jogged the whole distance of the railway yard (4kms). I didn't see any snakes and only one dingo so I kept going and it seemed effortless. I have never been able to jog the whole way before, so my goal for the next 12 weeks is to do it twice!
The other proof was yesterday when I got my trekking gear for Everest. usually I take a size 14 in pants, well I had to get size 10! Hopefully I will loose the next 10 kgs in twelve weeks but the pants will fit as they have to be loose....
So, my heartfelt thanks to you for guiding me through this endevour. I can't express how grateful I am to you and Kristin for helping me to have the well being and the fitness level I have attained so far.

I went and got the body composition test done again for the completion of IBO 12 weeks and I was rapt with the results. Down to 22% body fat from 24% two weeks ago. I have lost fat but the kicker is that I have gained muscle!! So happy that I am on track and obviously everything I am doing is working. I am now, on Tom Venutos body fat chart - not average - not ideal, but into the LEAAAANNNN stage. Yippee!! I am booked in for every fortnight now to get tested while I enter into the next 6 week training program.
I can really notice the difference on myself now. My quads when I squat are hardening and toned on the sides. I feel like my shoulders and chest are really lean. I am standing up straighter as I have lost a lot from around my back and bra area and the back of my neck (another nice hereditary trouble spot). When I look down at my biceps and shoulders they look more defined. I am wearing size 8 jeans almost every day and I can pick any top to go with them. My size 9 and 10 clothes still fit but are nice and loose and look cute as a casual baggy look with a tight top. One of my pair of size 10 jeans are falling off down my butt after a couple of hours stretching!
I feel energetic, I feel fantastic, I feel like I can keep going with this way of healthy eating and exercise into the future. My cravings have lessened but knowing I can have a ‘refeed meal’ keeps me from feeling restricted. But I cannot eat much at these meals anyway my stomach has shrunk big time!!
I feel strong when I walk. When I jog I feel like my arms are strong and I no longer cramp up along my shoulders. When I lift weights and I look at my charts I have gone up every time in weights and am lifting great kgs. I have kept progressing in every way. I am fit and can jog and walk really quickly and get a massive endorphin high every day. I constantly wear my heart rate monitor when I exercise so I know I am burning nearly 500 calories every day in exercise.
So in total 51cm lost how unbelievably good is that????

Hurray, I lost total of 6.6kgs & 36.5cm thanks to you & IBO! Although my end scale weight isn't a huge loss number - I'm actually ok with it because I have learnt so much & feel amazing (eg. eating every 3 hours, it's the best - no more 3pm junk food cravings). Most importantly the program is truly maintainable & that's why my past weight loss attempts have failed (that & the fact that I would simply become complacent). Not any more, I'm a changed woman, no more "all or nothing" attitude, if I do ever happen to fall off the wagon & over-eat at a meal, I will simple return to my regular eating the very next meal!
Thanks again for your words of wisdom & support over the past 12 weeks! It's been great having someone to make me accountable - just what the Doctor ordered, I'd been trying to go it alone for so long. At times when I'd gone astray, or not lost much weight as I thought I should have, I was terrified I'd get an email back telling me off, but you've always been so supportive! Thanks for all your help, you're a wonderful Coach & I'm sure a beautiful person in real life too!

I am feeling absolutley amazing in just 5 short days. I can't believe it! I have gone from being extremely frustrated with myself from feeling lethargic and tired all the time, and bloated, to having a huge improvement in energy level, and I am sleeping slightly better (sleep deprivation is a major issue for me).

I don't always have the time to read my email everyday as I have 3 boys and one has a disability so his a lot more demanding. Since I signed up with your wonderful team I have had nothing but encouragement so thank you. It is a struggle sometime to fit everything in running a business and house hold. But I push through because I made my health the first thing to fix for this year. Over the past 5 yrs we have had some challenging times with my son and his disability and my husband and mother going through cancer. All's good and life's great but it is time to get back in shape. Thank you once again.

Just thought I would let you know how I went after depletion week.
I have maintained a very healthy and clean, 'to the plan' nutrition since finishing. I hopped on the scale and only put on 100grams and 0.6% of body fat after a week. I am very happy with myself and completing the depletion week has put my brain on track, ( even stroger than before) and realising that I can't have lollies yet, as I can't stop at 1 choc so all out til I can control that part better. Plus they aren't that appealing :)
So just want to say thanks for all the work you put in to make this happen, IBO has changed my live for the better

Thank you :) They are exactly what I wanted, well even better actually, the perfect amount of challenging, and the leg work looks brilliant!! I know I will definitely see results with these. Your programs are sooo much better than any that I've had before, I think that must be partly because you understand what I'm after (& need) rather than the boring 'stock standard' programs I've had in the past from the gym and my old PT.

Not sure if you remember me or not, but I started you program in June 08. After losing 11kg I became pregnant so stopped the program. Well I have continued on and have lost nearly 20kgs since first beginning your program. I am still following it and find I have enough motivation to do it on my on now, although when I have lost the last 15kg, I might seek a program to really tone up the areas I want.
A big thanks again. I am so glad I stumbled across your website otherwise I would probably still be yo yo dieting and binge eating.

I'm completing my 6 week program and would love to continue with it as its been a brilliant experience so far and I have learned so much.
I think I now have a good grasp on what I should be doing with my diet/supplements but would love another training program as the last one was brilliant - far better than PT programs/gym programs I have had in the past.
If you have any suggestions or options to extend my program that include diet/training and just training - it would be appreciated.

I am so grateful to you, Kristin, Sue and IBO. I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been (I finished my boot camp and improved my beep test score from 5.6 to 7.1 and I can now do 35 full pushups in a minute) and I know how to eat healthily. I also know how much better it feels to be fit and healthy, and I never want to go back to how I was 9 months ago.
I would never have known this without IBO - it was only with your continual information, help and support that this was able to occur. It was something that I was never able to achieve on my own and I hope you realise what a great job you do with IBO and that you are proud of yourself for helping others so much. I have no doubt that I will be back with IBO in the future - hopefully you will all still be there and we can catch up again.
