"I feel amazing and pretty awesome too!"

12 weeks with Ideal Bodies Online has made me feel brand new, I have never felt so energised before. Not only am I energised but empowered that with the right tools, I have been able to absolutely smash all the goals I set for myself during my 12 week program.

I had struggled for approximately 8 months trying to recover from a crazy summer holiday. I was in and out of the doctors and specialists, was extremely fatigued and at times nauseas. I thought that hitting the gym as much as I could (without a plan), doing hours and hours on end would shake the sickness away.

"The only result I got from this was complete tiredness. I wasn't killing kilos, I was killing energy!"

I had plateaued for quite some time, maybe even years with my weight and fitness. I was doing all this training and nothing to show?

As spring time was nearing and my frustration was growing, I thought I needed to make a plan… and so I did, I put 12 solid weeks of sweat, almost tears and dedication to this challenge. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I was set up with a nutrition plan and 2 x six week training plans. I was provided with the guidance and support from an Ideal Bodies Online Feedback Coach. This was my new beginning and my program taught me the correct method of training and how to fuel my body to create total success in each goal I had set.

Here are some of my stats:
 

  • I began at 68.5kg and am now happily grinning ear to ear at 60kg
  • I was carrying 25.66% body fat and am now slimmed to 12.5%
  • The total centimetres lost from my hips, thighs and waist totals 29cm. From my hips alone I lost 13.5cm!!

The nutrition plan written for me was fantastic. I do believe there is a lot of prep work, but boy I can work my way around my kitchen now. I instantly felt my body was fuelled correctly for each workout. I have an extra bounce in my step when I am training and I feel I can keep on kicking it for hours on end. The nutrition advice I received from Ideal Bodies Online was the biggest learning curve for me.

The training plans I received were my absolute favourite!! I love to train and I was provided with a lot of new workouts and often added changes over the 12 weeks to keep my body guessing at what was coming next and what it had to work for.

Each week I was able to increase the weights, hit harder and longer at the bag, do more push-ups hold that plank a little longer, the list goes on. It was such a heartening time.

Since completed my 12 week challenge it is not over for me. I have a lot of knowledge now to keep this new lifestyle going. I’ll continue to set goals and reach them, train hard and eat clean. I am so proud of what I have been able to achieve and have so much appreciation for Ideal Bodies Online and the service they provide.

To sum up how I feel now: confident, energized, healthy and awesome!!

We must all believe in ourselves to achieve.


Kim’s Favourite Recipe – Creamy Apple Oats

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup oats
  • 75g grated apple
  • Nutmeg and Cinnamon
  • 1 cup water


Method:

  1. Soak ½ cup oats with 1 cup water overnight
  2. Drain excess water from oats
  3. Add cottage cheese, grated apple, nutmeg, cinnamon and stir well
  4. Place in microwave on high for 2+ minutes stirring in between
