There were many factors that motivated me to become involved in the New You 12 Week Challenge and I must say I wish I had been involved in something like this years ago.

I have wasted many hours on exercise and other diet plans. I have spent many years and a lot of emotions trying to achieve a physical goal.

Ideal Bodies Online appealed to me as it showed real women achieving real results on a system that didn’t seem hard and also seemed like a supportive network. The support is something I couldn’t fault over the 12 weeks. Motivation wasn’t what was lacking with me, I’ve spent hours in the gym per day, 7 days per week not getting the results I was looking for and only getting frustrated. What I was lacking was the correct information, especially when it came to nutrition.

The biggest hurdles for me was letting go of negative thoughts and believe I too could achieve the results I wanted. The biggest benefit I gained was having control over my eating and that I am now not constantly feeling guilty about eating as I now know I’m feeling my body correctly.

Taking before photos, I found, to be the biggest motivator to keep me on track, especially the photo taken from behind!!! I also believe that keeping a journal makes a difference in achieving your goal as it keeps you focused and on track.

When it comes to naughty foods I just kept repeating the quote “Nothing tastes as good as a lean body feels”… and now I know how true that is!

I highly recommend the book ‘Fattitude’. I found this to be a fantastic read and something I read over and over again during my 12 weeks. One word for success – ‘organise’. Being organised will definitely help you achieve your results.

I would also like to thank all the previous success stories. They are all TRUE inspirations that I re-read and looked at over and over again to keep me focused. Well done to all of you and of course to Sue who does an amazing job at providing a system to help others and who provides continual support. Thank you.
