"We are told that talent creates its own opportunities. But it sometimes seems that intense desire creates not only its own opportunities, but its own talents."
-Eric Hoffer

Approaching my 29th Birthday, being a wife and mother to my three beautiful daughters (9,7 and 4 years), I have never been one to put myself first. Between the responsibilities of running a family, working part-time and studying, I had little time left for myself. I kept my goals in the back of my mind, things I would dream of achieving, but never seemed to have the will to reach them. For the past 3 years, I have religiously bought magazines containing other women’s success stories. I would always aspire to have the commitment they do, and yet never completed any of the weight-loss efforts I started. Having accumulated hundreds of health and fitness magazines over the years, you would think I would have enough information at my fingertips to organise my own fitness routine and stick to it. My problem is that I need someone to tell me exactly what exercise to do, and what food to eat, to gain the results I strive for. Many of the Success Stories that I would often refer back to, are of women who completed programs through Ideal Bodies Online. I have read Sue Heintze’s own personal success story many times, and I find it truly inspirational that based on her own trials and tribulations, started up her own company and in turn helps so many people. Previous Clients of Ideal Bodies Online who also inspire me, are Kristin Gleeson who is part of the Ideal Bodies Online Team, and Kellie Robins (past Body Blitz Winner) who’s story was so similar to my own.
In July, I decided enough was enough. Suffering from mood swings and regular bad eating habits, things had to change. I contacted Ideal Bodies Online, and was surprised at how quickly I received all the information I needed to join up. I decided to sign up for a 12 week Full Support Program. To give me the added support from a designated Feedback Coach. I knew this would keep me on track and accountable, as I had to send regular progress emails. Once I sent in my forms, by the end of the week, I had received my own nutrition and exercise programs. These programs were based on my goals that I wanted to achieve over the 12 weeks. The efficiency of Ideal Bodies Online was amazing. Within a couple of days, I was beginning my program. The supplements I used included Multi-Vitamins, Calcium tablets, glutamine (thoroughly recommend for muscle soreness) and Protein powder and Protein Bars.
I did not have a perfect 12 weeks, but I tried to keep in mind that this was just the start of a new, healthier lifestyle. The knowledge I have gained throughout this experience and the determination I felt, helped me to get back on track and continue the program, to the very last day. The bonus is that I had access to the Client Forum. Over the past 12 weeks, I have made some wonderful, life-long friends. The support I received from these women has undoubtedly helped me through both the good and the bad days. I can not thank-you all enough! I am now a confident, happy, fit and healthy woman. I believe that I am a positive role model for my girls, and that is by far the most important thing I have gained from all of this. The changes in my overall body shape are indescribable. I no longer have the dreaded “doughnut” sitting around my waist. I have achieved goals that I did not even aim for. Fitness wise, I can run distances without feeling like I am going to collapse! Ideal Bodies Online is the best thing I have ever done, and I am a little sad to see the program end. I am continuing with my own fitness program, but at least I know Ideal Bodies Online is always only an email away! I would like to say a “huge” thank-you to Sue, Maxine (my lovely coach!) and Kristin from Ideal Bodies Online for all of their time and assistance. My only regret, is that I waited so long to get a fitter, healthier Me. My advice to everyone...Don’t hesitate, you are definitely worth the time and effort!

Amanda's Tips For Success!
1. Drink 3-4L of water every day. It helps keep you hydrated, your skin looks healthier and it keeps your cravings under control.
2. Interval Cardio (raising and lowering your heart-rate) is the key to increasing your fitness level and weight-loss.
3. Preparation is so important. Organise what exercise you will do for the day, and what food you will eat. You are more likely to stick to a program if it is written in front of you.
4. Keep a food and exercise journal. It is surprising how many little extras you nibble on if you are not keeping note your meals. Having this record will keep you accountable for each day too.
5. Take your measurements and photos regularly. You will be able to see progress and changes, no matter how small. Photos do not lie. Also your weight is not the be all and end all, you will be motivated when your body begins to change.
