Whew.

What a week I’ve had.   One of the toughest on ‘record’ I’d say – I’m remaining positive and will push on.  My training hasn’t suffered too much, I’m determined to keep it up though today I was unable to do much.

So I have been a bit quiet on the blog.  I flew to Melbourne this morning after about 4.5 hours sleep and not enough the night before either, so, on top of the other it has really knocked me for six.  I arrived at 8am and couldn’t get my room until 12 so had a coffee and wandered the streets until then.  Managed to buy a lovely jacket and a sports top from LJ.

I cancelled my appointments with clients – just not up to that unfortunately.  I have the Mike Robertson seminar tomorrow, hopefully I will sleep well and get a new lease of life so I can concentrate and learn!

My weight has dropped a bit, low 113′s now.  I haven’t had much of an appetite the last few days, but tonight I think it caught up with me a bit.  Have stuck to my diet no worries, but just got very hungry all of a sudden!  I was supposed to do legs (that I didn’t get done yesterday) today but there was no hope of me doing that.  Instead I walked the streets for some cardio, and, after a nap, another walk to get groceries and then tried to do some high intensity cardio in the gym here – again, wasn’t a happening thing.  10 mins and I gave up.  Tomorrow I will train chest down here.  I can’t believe most of the Fitness Firsts are closed on the weekends here in the city.  WTF?  For the amount they charge they should be open 24/7.

So I got back with my groceries and did my ironing and cooked up my eggs and veggies.  So, I’m pretty set now, I will relax for the rest of the night and hope I wake up in a better frame of mind!!  I think I’ve aged 10 years in the last week which is not good for me :) hehe.

Oh yeah, I did squat a PB last week – 7, 7, 7, 6 (I think) at 70kg.  Whatever it was was an extra 10 reps from the week before.  The unfortunate thing is my knee has started to play up again – my fault as I haven’t been icing it this past week.

I’m definitely not pregnant!! 

I just finished training – my arms are all shaky and finding it hard to type!  We started off with some strength work for chest.  I am pretty sure I did a PB – well it’s been a long time since I tried singles for bench press.  Yes, I just looked up my notes and I did PB – I bench pressed my body weight for 5 sets of singles.  Well, 52.5kg to be exact.  Pretty happy with that as I haven’t benched heavy for awhile or consistently.  Then followed with drop sets, then drop sets on cable flys.  Then triceps dips and some biceps curls.

Great cardio session yesterday too.  Well time to enjoy a glass of wine, just finished (sort of) packing for my trip tomorrow.
