Kyah is just adorable, of course, but not only because she is my baby She is 5 1/2 months old now, and has her two bottom teeth already. Her first came through at 4 1/2 months, and the next one 2 weeks later. So that was a bit of a grizzly old time, but wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be. She did have a little cold as well, and for two days was pretty miserable. She still has a bit of a cough which has gone to her chest now. I’m hoping that clears up soon or I will have to take her to the doctor. She has just started on solids and is having a ‘bite to eat’ 3 x day now. We have pushed her feed times and bed times back a half hour and this so far, along with the introduction of solids, has had a good result for sleeping longer between feeds and lasting until close to 7am instead of bloody 5.30am!
Me, well I am struggling along a little bit. I’ve had some gastro problems for the past 4 months and as a result, I’m now feeling very washed out and fatigued, even when I get enough sleep. And when I don’t, well, that’s not real pleasant at all! I have been to my GP a couple of times, but now am off to see a gastroenterologist on Monday. I’ve considered that perhaps childbirth/surgery has triggered celiac disease and that I am now gluten intolerant. I’m just guessing, but it can do that. I don’t have an appetite, and I am losing weight without exercising, something I have never done before in my life. I’m weighing about 51kg at the moment, less than when I conceived. Of course I have lost some muscle mass too though.
Right, so now it’s Saturday…last night she slept beautifully and has continued that this morning – if only it were this easy all the time! I feel like a million bucks today, compared to yesterday!
Mum is coming around to help me get her room organized, it has clothes and stuff everywhere, just one of those things that has gotten on top of me and I haven’t gotten around to fixing it up. Had a little bit of a meltdown yesterday as things were getting on top of me a bit, but amazing what a good sleep does for you.
We are going away for Easter, to Goolwa (SA) for 3 nights. That will be a 4.5 hour drive for us – I wonder how Kyah will go.
Ideal Bodies Online is going strong, we have 2 more Body Blitz winners this month! 25 in total, and 3 grand champions! Pretty proud of our team, and of course our wonderful clients who have made it happen!
Anyway this is really quick and I am going to press ‘post’ because if I don’t I will never finish it!
