Firstly, to Sharna and Leisl, two Ideal Bodies Online girls competing this weekend – you’ve both worked very hard and I can’t wait to hear all about it
Have a blast.
If I repeat myself from previous posts I apologise – ‘baby brain’ is definitely not a myth. The 3rd trimester has brought with it similar exhaustion from the first, along with a bit of nausea again as well. As you can see below, my belly is so big now it’s a bit hard to navigate – though it is really not as big as some I’ve seen at this stage of proceedings! I have only 5 weeks to go now can you believe it?
As you may imagine I am starting to get a bit nervous (but excited too) about the whole labour process! At the start you don’t even think about that, but now it’s so close that I guess I have to :)
Things have gone pretty smoothly all up – I have just about stopped all exercise – I stopped walking at about 30 weeks because my feet were so sore. All I can manage now is about a 20 min walk, and it’s very slow :) More for the fresh air than anything. I am doing pilates 1-2 x week which is just stretching and core work but it has been really good. I can’t wait to get properly active again! I’ll be going for some more before and after pictures, having put on 15kg to date.
I’ve now got some carpal tunnel syndrome going on which isn’t that pleasant, particularly in the mornings. Apparently it runs in my family – my sister had it really bad during pregnancy as did mum. I am using one of my sister’s splints when I need it!
I’ve had a million people tell me I’m having a girl (even a derro on the streets of Cairns!) and one person tell me a boy :) Whatever it is it’s moving around plenty but as yet no kicks in the ribs, bladder or any other sensitive spots. It really is a strange feeling to have something moving around like that in your tummy.
So, yes, I’m well and truly over being pregnant now, especially the puffy look and feel, and looking forward to what the next stage brings – it’s a big change, a big learning curve but it is pretty exciting.
I’m managing a bit of work here and there in between naps! Still have quite a few things to tidy up but at least I feel mostly in control. Kristin has been a huge help. I won’t be able to take much time away from work after the birth, as unfortunately as it is with your own business, I can’t delegate absolutely everything.
Just a heads up if you didn’t pick up this free report I emailed about during the week: Fifteen Foods That KILL Belly Fat Fast (I think I’ll be needing it!).

Over 170,000 people have downloaded this report making it the most popular fat loss report on the internet to date. Check it out. It gets taken down at 2pm today (Sat) so be quick.
Today I’m catching up with mum and my sister for lunch. Might be the last time we manage to get together before bub comes along. Is it weird I still can’t get my head around the fact I will have a baby soon?
Oh, all our instant programs are currently half price too should you or any of your friends or family be interested:
