Thank you so much for all the well wishes, congratulations and comments – I’m truly overwhelmed! I’ve been trying to thank everyone individually but I am having a hard time getting my internet to work here. It works for about 5 mins then shuts down. Very frustrating.
So, I had my first spew last night as the headline indicates. Nice, not. We had dinner out, seafood platter, and before anyone has a go at me for eating seafood, my OB has no problems with it so I figure he should know. I think it was the mix of foods, there was hot and cold and various bits and pieces. Come 11pm (I’d been asleep for 2 hours already) I was up and driving the porcelain bus. Twice. I felt a lot better after that.
I am really shocked at how much food I am putting away. I’m starting to feel it too. And I still don’t believe the fatigue – it’s really incredible. I got up at 6am (sleep in), and it’s now 10am and I need another sleep. I have no inclination to work, to exercise or do anything really. Not that you can do much in this god awful weather. I might have to change my favourite holiday spot to somewhere else. Have has shit luck when it comes to weather up this way.
Tomorrow we will go to the Eumundi markets, and then the Farmer’s Market on Sunday. This arvo we have our spa treatments. Kerry thanks for the tip, I have sussed all that out, they know their pregnancy stuff. No hot tubs, I’m having a body scrub and wrap (not a heating one so ok for pregnancy) followed by a mini facial and a 60 min pregnancy massage. Cannot wait.
Ok well I simply wanted to say thank you to everyone who has wished us all the best. You all rock.

Oh no- not the porcelain bus ride! Hope you get off soon… Enjoy your fantastic appetite Sue. I went from being a vegetarian to a crazed lunatic meat eater once I fell pregnant! The rarer the better- and this was after 15 years without meat! I think your body just takes control and tells you what you need… Enjoy it!
Cheers- Karen
Oh dear…hee..hee…welcome to mother’s club
…nausea, vomiting (for some), and fatigue! Though I have to admit, I really enjoyed all the sleep. And it was great timing, because test cricket was on, so it didn’t matter if I fell asleep, cause I’d catch up when I woke up anyway.
Enjoy your spa treatment (glad you sussed it out), and just lap up all the pampering over the coming months Sue!
Hi Sue
I can remenber eating myself silly for 3 months with our son. It is like your body is craving certain nutrients and there is no way you can control it.
I hope you are feeling better soon. I agree with you about the weather, it has been yuk for ages!!
Gill xx
I love it up at the Sunshine Coast and the Eumundi markets are great too – that whole area is very picturesque. Am envious of you having the spa treatments tho. Enjoy!
