The weather has been superb – could not have asked for better. Unfortunately today is the start of the decline, but never mind, I’m happy with 4 days of lovely sunshine.
I have been eating up a storm as you do on holidays, but I have (until I blew it yesterday) only been having breakfast and dinner, breaky preceeded by a 1 hour 20 minute walk around the Noosa National Park (which is a slice of absolute heaven). My calves, shins, hips and glutes are really sore! I have though, had a couple of beach massages to help with this! Di told me about some killer stairs that were right next to our accommodation – I walked up them after my walk around the park and OMG, my heart rate was almost to 170 and my legs were like jelly afterwards.
Speaking of Di, we had a lovely dinner at their house on Friday night. Their new house in Twin Waters is just beautiful, straight out of Vogue or something! I so want to live up here but I’m getting resistance from the other half
of course it’s not that easy anyway. As long as I can trip up here a few times each winter I will be happy. It’s just magic when the sun is out. A different lifestyle for sure – a very healthy one, and one that would suit me down to the ground. You girls that live up here are blessed.
Can you believe we ran into a good friend of mine from Mildura at the Noosa Surf Club? I worked with her for about 10 years. Knew her and her hubby were up this way but staying at Caloundra. So we had a couple of drinks and laughs with them.
We went to Montezuma’s last night for dinner. It was very disappointing! I had this chicken dish (trying to branch out from my usual choice) that was supposed to be some ‘centuries old’ recipe. Well it looked lik a Coles BBQ chook, covered in red sauce, with 2 sliced bananas and a slice of Golden Circle pineapple on top. I don’t think the nuns would have cooked it quite this way. The chook was dry and overcooked, and there was just no taste to it.
We went to the Eumundi markets on Saturday, always great to see. Yesterday we went to the Farmer’s Market – how I wish I had regular access to the beautiful fruit and veg they have at these markets. I just LOVE the Greek yoghurt.
Super huge congratulations to Selina and Micaela (both previous Ideal Bodies Online clients) who competed in their first competition yesterday. I have not seen pics of Selina yet but Mic looked fantastic and very polished in her poses from what I have seen. Selina left me a very excited message on the phone yesterday – she was really happy with her performance, with numerous call outs in a huge field of 14. Go girls!
Well I best get moving, we have to check out this morning but I might go and drag Damien out of bed for another coffee. I have a business appointment tomorrow morning on the Goldy, looking forward to asking some questions and finding out some more info on my new website project.
PS We have another super special going on our programs at the moment – I’m feeling in a rather generous mood. This special went absolutely mad last time and booked out quickly.

Hey, glad you guys are having a super time! You deserve every bit of your holiday that’s for sure. Hurry up and come back so we can TRAIN lol!!
