Tanned and ready for action

My back at present, which I am rather pleased with.  Note I cut off the rest of me.

Tomorrow we are off to Melbourne – I will be heading straight to Expozay on Collins Street for my hair do and makeup.  Hopefully it will all be done in time for my interview at 2.30pm.  Apparently I will be filmed working out, or running down the street!  I am hoping the former, it’s a bit more ‘me’.  That evening we are attending the Save Water Awards at the Grand Hyatt.

I am looking forward to catching up with one of my latest 12 week finishers, Liz L.  I just put her pics up in our gallery, they are absolutely unbelievable – you have to check them out!  This girl lost 21kg in 12 weeks.  What a great set of abs she now has!  We are meeting up on Saturday morning for a coffee before we go to the footy.  Taking my ugg boots to wear to the footy, bugger it, I’m not going to freeze my butt off if I can help it.

This week I had two interviews for the local papers.  One included some photos at the gym which I got a bit of a preview of and a couple looked pretty good.  Hopefully they use the good ones and not the crap ones :)

I’m having the rest of the week off training, coach’s orders’.  Well it was his suggestion.  I have had some hip/glute/groin problems – so sore in the butt as I previously wrote about.  I was able to get in to my magician of a chiropractor today.  I made him work for his money!  He had all his little contraptions out this time!  A block for my knee, one for my hip, some other thing for my jaw.  Apparently my left hip, knee and ankle had all rotated, causing my issues.  It’s heaps better already.  Not sure what the go is with my jaw – it’s just sore!

I did train today, ummed and ahhed about it though as it was quads/glutes and I didn’t want to make things worse.  I did go, but made it a quick workout and combined legs and shoulders.   I almost had a pretty bad day with food - I was really struggling at lunchtime, but pulled myself together.  Veggies didn’t make an appearance until this evening unfortunatley.  So, the bad thing I ate today was some cheese on a piece of bread.

Oats, MRM Low Carb protein, flax meal

Myoplex Lite

Salmon (tiny piece), sardines and half avocado, followed by choc protein, raspberries and some almonds and yoghurt (bit of a big meal)

Slice of bread with cheese

And now I just improved my day with a rice, corn, beans, tuna, avocado salad.  Yes there are some carbs, but that’s about all I could find in my fridge.  I’m not shopping looking like this. :)

Well, I best be off and pack my bags.
